We encourage elementary school students to work on service projects by supporting K-Kids.  Children can develop self-esteem, leadership skills, morals and standards, and respect for others by being involved with K-Kids.  The Kiwanis Club of Tampa supports the Qualified Academy Zone project for renovation of the school facility.  Our club has sponsored three Head Start classes at Westshore Elementary School since 1990.  We have partnered with Westshore Elementary by providing field trips to the Florida Aquarium and Lowry Park Zoo, T-shirts, and gifts during the holidays for more than 60 kids.
